If there’s one thing Long Islanders know how to do, it’s praise this country’s servicemen and women and remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice. That solemn respect will be on full display across the island during the entire stretch of Memorial Day weekend.
And with its position on the North Shore of Long Island, the Inn at Fox Hollow is situated perfectly to act as a home base for anyone looking to observe Memorial Day in the proper fashion. Events range from parades in various communities, to children events, to the iconic air show at Jones Beach, to barbecues and beach days—so no matter how you choose to spend the extended weekend, Long Island likely has the right events lined up.
